Train-the-Trainer Program in Healthcare Simulation

Train-the-Trainer Program in Healthcare Simulation

From July 9 to 11, 2025, the Medical Simulation Center (MSC) proudly hosted a dynamic Instructor Training Program in Medical Simulation, bringing together healthcare professionals, educators, and academic leaders committed to advancing excellence in healthcare education

The objectives of this training were to:

  • Understand the pedagogical principles of healthcare simulation
  • Integrate simulation sessions into a healthcare and/or interprofessional training program
  • Design a simulation scenario using a standardized patient or a mannequin
  • Implement simulation sessions (role-playing, low- and high-fidelity mannequins)
  • Conduct a structured debriefing

Held in a collaborative spirit, the training encouraged the sharing of professional experiences and contributed to the creation of a strong community of practice around medical simulation.
