Specialized Pediatric Intensive Care Training

Specialized Pediatric Intensive Care Training

As part of its ongoing medical skills development program, the Institut de Coopération Universitaire (ICU) organized a specialized training session on May 1, 2025, dedicated to pediatric intensive care at the Honoris Medical Simulation Center.

This session brought together Libyan healthcare professionals — including surgeons, anesthetists, pediatricians, as well as paramedical staff such as anesthesia technicians and nurses — with the objective of strengthening their expertise and promoting best practices in the management of critical pediatric situations.

The training took the form of practical workshops, offering participants the opportunity to enhance both their technical skills and clinical decision-making abilities in high-stakes scenarios.

High-fidelity Simulators were used under the supervision of expert trainers in the field, providing an immersive learning experience followed by thorough debriefings to review actions taken and consolidate acquired skills.
